Attorney James T. Morse

Attorney James Morse has successfully represented clients in civil matters, criminal matters and in administrative hearings in Massachusetts for over 12 years.  He has appeared before the District, Superior, Appellate Courts and Administrative Bodies such as the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission and Town or City Licensing Boards.


A former police officer of 23 years, Attorney Morse received awards from Mothers Against Drunk Driving and was a Drug Recognition Expert; he knows exactly where to probe a case for legal or factual weakness.  While working as a Detective, Attorney Morse was a frequent instructor and lecturer at the Massachusetts State Police Academy as well as several local police academies instructing in the areas of criminal law and criminal procedure.  He contributed revisions and assisted in the rewriting and implementing of a new curriculum for police officers.  As a former Union President, he is a skilled negotiator.


Community involvement has always been important to Mr. Morse who served as volunteer fireman/EMT for over ten years.  Attorney Morse has served on Town boards and is currently a Town meeting member in Falmouth as well as a Director/Clerk of the Fred Harris Daniels Foundation Inc of Worcester MA. 


James Morse is a graduate of the College of Wooster in Wooster Ohio where he holds a Bachelor’s degree in History.  He has a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Western New England University and a Juris Doctorate from New England Law.
